Recycling & regrind

Recycling is our
fail-safe, not
our business model.

Six percent of our intake reaches this service, and we treat each one as a small defeat. But when a bottle is genuinely finished, it becomes clean HDPE regrind — not a landfill ticket with a green sticker on it.

Where every part actually goes

If a recycler cannot tell you this table for your material, they are a transfer station with good branding.

Who uses this service

Three situations

  1. Site clean-outs

A yard full of mixed empties, drums, cages and pallets accumulated over years. We quote the whole job, sort it here, and pay you for whatever is recoverable instead of charging for disposal.

  2. Fleet retirement

A returnable programme reaching end of life. We triage the fleet, rebottle what is worth rebottling, buy what is resaleable and recycle the rest — with one document covering all three outcomes.

  3. Compliance-driven destruction

Some products require that the container never re-enters commerce. We destroy the bottle, document it, and recycle the material. The cage still gets a second life.

Honest limits

What we cannot take

  • Totes containing liquid — they must be drained before transport
  • Hazardous residue requiring licensed disposal, unless you have the manifest
  • Radiological, medical or explosive-contact containers, ever
  • Anything whose label has been removed to hide what it held

If you are unsure, send the safety data sheet with your enquiry. We would much rather read it than guess.
